Privacy Act and Health Info


A lifestyle choice is to maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times, according to the Privacy Act 1993.

We are also contractually required to work within the HDC Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers' Rights Regulation 1996.

Entry to Services

The NASC provider will make referral of a person requiring Supported Living Services to the Provider. The referral will be:

  • To assist the person to find and establish an appropriate living arrangement

  • To assist the person to develop skills which provide the means for them to cope with day-to-day situations at home and in the community.

  • To provide personal contacts on an individual basis to assist and support the person to maintain independence and a life style of their choice based on the support needs identified through the NASC process.
